FR: 2008-09-29 and Sticking Points
Last night I had not too much time to do cold approaches. I did one approach at a bookstore with Martyr, then had to have dinner with family. I went direct, but her boyfriend was in the store. Oh well.
On the train ride back home, I listened to an interview on how one guy got really good: going out every day, no matter what. Inspired, I went solo for about an hour and a half.
Of course, it being so late and I being so dependent on Martyr, I didn’t talk to a single soul. That’s okay, though. I realized that I have been too harsh on my self improvement, trying to work on multiple sticking points at a time. For example, last night I wanted to do horse girl while going solo. Each of these are hard enough on their own, to do both was quite anxious! As soon as I realized this, I decided to go direct instead, tackling only the solo anxiety. I immediately felt better! Not that I approached, since there were so few girls out.
Anyway, I made a list of my sticking points, so that when I feel anxious, I know to not work on more than one at a time:
1. Opening girls not cute or hot enough.
2. Horse girl.
3. Sex last week.
4. Loud environments.
5. Bar game.
6. Solo game.
7. Train game.
8. Bookstore game.
