Date: 2008-09-06

There was a lot of rain today. I was by myself, and I saw a girl ducking for cover about ten feet away from me. I hesitated for about half an hour, called Martyr for emotional support, and finally she disappeared. *sigh*

Had two dates set up, but girl #2 canceled due to the rain. Texted her back to cancel, double flake reversal, now I have more time with girl #1.

Met up with girl #1 at a cafe near my place, had lunch. Mentioned in passing that I really wanted to watch a specific action/romantic comedy movie, then after we were done eating she wants to do something stupid and I suggest we watch the aforementioned movie instead. She agrees, we go to my place and watch it.

She hates the movie and let’s me know exactly why, throughout the movie. I’m completely turned off at this point, I don’t even want to touch her. I text a friend as an emergency exit, she calls me back. I loudly say, “Are you alright? You need to talk? Here? Um, okay, I guess.” I sadly inform my date that my friend had some personal issues and is coming over to chat.

Something weird happens, though: she says TV sucks, we turn it off, she starts getting physical. I still didn’t have the balls to kiss her, but I give her a massage and am working my way around her body when my friend buzzes.

Oh well.

We have boring conversation, a boring dinner, then finally she leaves.
