“I feel badly.”

Just because you’re supposed to use “badly” when you should have used “bad” (“I did badly,” not “I did bad.”) doesn’t mean that you can haphazardly use “badly” wherever you would have used “bad”. I was listening to an advertisement for a show when I heard them quote, “You tried to kill me!” “I know, I feel badly.”

The grammar Nazi within rages.

You Again

I thought I had gotten rid of you.

Why do you continue to haunt me?

Why do I keep thinking of you?
