I Hate Hardware

So many nights have I spent trying to get computers to do the one thing they were meant to do: work reliably. Yet night after frustrating night, I come up empty, my junk pile of hardware filled with motherboards and networks that won’t just work.

Time and time again I tell myself that I will never fiddle with hardware again. Instead, I tell myself, I shall buy whole systems, saving myself some sanity and years of self-imposed tech support.

Yet I still do this. I try to be a hero and do everything myself.

Argh. I hate hardware.
